Game started out slow for the Pens, Brent Johnson started in goal and has been steady if not spectacular in goal. Nashville gets off to a 2-0 start, The pens have been taking to many stupid penalties and it has been cutting down on there 5 on 5 play and putting them on there heals alot. But in true Pens style, Sidney kicks the boys in and Kunitz gets a shorty. But Nashville scores quickly to stay up 3-1 and it looks like the game is theres for the taking. But with 3minutes left in the game the Pens really put on the pressure and Fedetenko gets a big goal to go one down, within 30 seconds of that goal Sid feeds GOGO out front and he burys a slapper over the glove hand for a tied game.
Pens get to the shootout and Sid the Kid scores the only SO goal and PENS WIN.
We will take the hard earned two points , but the Pens must not take so many penalties and without Malkin,Gonchar,Talbot and Kennedy we have to play it close to the vest.
Tonites game against Minn. and Sykora is coming home to play against his old team.
